国立天文台「三鷹・星と宇宙の日 2014」に出展

ビクセンは国立天文台三鷹／東京大学天文学教育研究センター（東京都三鷹市）で開催される「三鷹・星と宇宙の日 2014」（特別公開）に出展します。
今年のイベントテーマは「宇宙のフロンティアに挑むTMT」です。 TMT（Thirty Meter Telescope）は、口径30mの主鏡を持つ史上最大の光学赤外線望遠鏡です。2022年の観測開始に向けハワイ島マウナケア山に建設が始まりました。イベントでは「30m望遠鏡TMT、いよいよ建設開始！」と題して講演会（25日）が開かれます。
また、特別公開では、普段は見ることのできない天文台の観測・実験施設を見学することができ、研究紹介や展示、スタンプラリーなど楽しい企画が盛りだくさんです。 ビクセンは星空のひろば（グラウンド天体観望会）にブースを出展。日中は天体望遠鏡や双眼鏡などの展示・体験、夜は天体観望会を行います。
