総合光学機器メーカー株式会社ビクセン（本社：埼玉県所沢市、代表取締役：新妻和重）は、2018年6月8日に『手作り星座早見盤PP』を発売します。

この星座早見盤はパーツを切り抜き、組み立てて使う星座早見盤です。ハサミやカッターは不要なので、お子様にも10分程度で安全に組み立てることができます。

素材には、雨や霧などに強く、とても丈夫な“PP（ポリプロピレン）シート”を使用。アウトドアでの観察でも抜群の耐久性なので、夏休みの自由研究で大活躍します。イベントのワークショップなどにも活用できる、オススメの新製品です。

シートの余白には、夜空に見つけやすい星の名前と星座の名前、主な流星群の一覧が掲載され、切り取って栞（しおり）として使用できるようになっています。

また、付属の“月の大きさスケール”は、昇り始めの大きく見える月も、昇って小さく見える月も実際は同じ大きさ、ということがわかる実験ツールです。時間帯や日にちを変えて、何度も観察してみてください。
