セレストロン社が開発・提供するアプリケーション「StarSense Explorer アプリ」を使用する際は、下記サイトに掲載のスマートフォン対応機種を推奨しています。

※アプリ動作確認済みの機種を掲載
このアプリは、スマートフォン端末に内蔵するコンパス機能を利用しています。セレストロン社の公開情報ではAndroid7.1.2 以上、iOS（iPhone 6 以降）の最新バージョンにて動作可能とされていますが、スマートフォン端末の一部機種で内蔵コンパスの精度が不十分なことにより、StarSense Explorerアプリのプログラムによる天体ナビゲーションが正しく機能しない事例が判明しました。上記サイトに該当がない機種につきましては、アプリ動作について保証いたしかねます。なにとぞご了承ください。

＜アプリご使用時の注意＞
対応機種でも、コンパスが正常に機能しないことがあります。
以下の点をご確認ください。

1. 磁石を使用したケースやカバーを装着している場合、コンパス機能が正常に動作しないため、必ず取り外してご使用ください。

2. コンパス機能が正常に動作していないと思われる場合は、スマートフォンのキャリブレーション（調整）を行うことで改善することがあります。詳しくはご使用のスマートフォンマニュアルを確認いただくか、メーカーにお問い合わせください。

②SONY製スマートフォン・Xperia（エクスぺリア）をご使用のお客様へ

StarSense Explorerアプリは、スマートフォン内蔵のカメラ機能を利用していますが、ソニー製スマートフォンXperiaの一部機種においてカメラ機能が作動しない事例が報告されており、現在アプリ提供元であるセレストロン社へ確認および対応を求めております。
